Started checking NASA's All Sky Fireball Network on Jan 20, 2017. It has detected 42,166 fireballs since that day. Most fireballs on one night? (559 - on 12/14/17) - the nightly median is 8. In the past 30 days there have been 200 fireballs detected. | current moon![]() | ||

| Current numbers to ponder: 17,605 Near Earth Objects are currently being tracked. 111 of those are Comets. 17,494 are Asteroids (and one Tesla Roadster). 7,918 of these Near Earth Asteroids are 140 meters or larger. 846 are larger than 1 kilometer.
