Started checking NASA's All Sky Fireball Network on Jan 20, 2017. It has detected 41,885 fireballs since that day. Most fireballs on one night? (559 - on 12/14/17) - the nightly median is 8. In the past 30 days there have been 183 fireballs detected. | current moon![]() | ||

| Current numbers to ponder: 17,603 Near Earth Objects are currently being tracked. 111 of those are Comets. 17,492 are Asteroids (and one Tesla Roadster). 7,916 of these Near Earth Asteroids are 140 meters or larger. 846 are larger than 1 kilometer. Of the Near Earth Asteroids: 1,828 are considered Potentially Hazardous Asteroids. | ||
